Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of health-related courses offered through journofixo. These include online modules, workshops, and certification programmes focused on wellness, nutrition, and preventive health practices. The policy covers transactions made by individuals and organisations based in Singapore and governs the sale of both one-time access courses and recurring subscription-based learning content. It does not apply to physical goods or in-person consultations unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in Singapore dollars (SGD) and include the prevailing Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable under Singapore law. Additional charges may apply for premium add-ons such as personalised feedback sessions or downloadable resources. Any such extras are clearly shown before payment is completed. Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider remain your responsibility and are not included in the displayed price.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayNow, and bank transfers processed through secure third-party gateways. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission of your order. All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols to protect your financial information. journofixo does not store complete card details on its servers.
Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A binding contract is formed once you receive an email confirmation from journofixo acknowledging receipt of payment. Until that confirmation is sent, no contract exists. You will also receive access credentials or course links within one business day of successful payment. If you do not receive confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us using the details on our Contacts page.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, you may cancel certain purchases within a cooling-off period where applicable. For digital course content, cancellation is permitted within seven days of purchase provided you have not commenced the course or downloaded substantial materials. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal charges.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available for unused courses if cancellation occurs within the permitted period. Exclusions include courses already accessed beyond the introductory module, promotional bundles, and any customised content prepared specifically for you. Non-refundable items also cover administrative fees for certificate issuance and any third-party licensing costs embedded in the course price.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, submit a written request via the contact form on our Contacts page or email [email protected]. Include your order number, full name, contact details, and a brief explanation of the reason for the request. You must provide proof of purchase and confirm that you have not substantially used the course materials.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision
Our team will review your request within ten business days. We may request additional information or evidence of non-use. You will be notified of approval or rejection by email. If approved, processing begins immediately. If rejected, we will explain the specific policy reason and offer any available alternatives such as course credit.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit card refunds typically appear within five to ten business days, while bank transfers may take up to fifteen business days. Processing times depend on your financial institution. journofixo is not responsible for delays caused by third-party processors.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant
Digital courses are considered delivered once access is granted. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers may have shorter or no refund windows as stated at purchase. If a course is discontinued, you may receive a pro-rata refund or transfer to an equivalent programme at our discretion.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments will result in order cancellation and loss of access. Duplicate charges are investigated promptly; contact [email protected] immediately if you notice an error. Chargebacks without valid grounds may lead to account suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity is reported to relevant Singapore authorities and may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in Singapore That the Policy Cannot Exclude
This policy does not exclude or limit any rights you have under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Sale of Goods Act, or the Unfair Contract Terms Act. These rights include remedies for defective digital content and protection against unfair trading practices. In the event of conflict, statutory rights prevail.
